Situated along State Route 18, approximately 20 miles north of St. George, the neighboring communities of Veyo and Brookside offer a combined population of around 500 residents. Veyo is famed for its delicious Veyo Pies and the Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon, a popular spot for swimming and rock climbing. Brookside, just south of Veyo, is known for its picturesque landscapes and tranquil environment. Both communities provide a rural lifestyle, with educational facilities located in Diamond Valley for elementary grades K-5 and St. George for grades 6-12.
The area is surrounded by public lands, offering residents access to numerous trails for hiking, ATV riding, and exploring the natural beauty of the region. The Veyo Rodeo is a local family friendly tradition with all the classic rodeo action set against the backdrop of the Veyo countryside. Veyo/Brookside is a 30 minute drive North of St. George and temperatures are about 15 degrees cooler than St. George. The proximity to St. George allows residents to enjoy a peaceful rural lifestyle without sacrificing access to urban amenities.
